Time Sensitive Provisions

When to buy your insurance is a very important decision. We recommend purchasing your travel insurance when booking your trip. Why? Most travel insurance policies contain time sensitive provisions which broaden coverage when you purchase the insurance in a timely manner.

Purchasing within the time sensitive period (within 15 days of the date you make your initial payment for your trip) expands coverage provisions such as waiving the Pre-Existing Conditions Exclusion, provides coverage for bankruptcy or insolvency of a travel supplier, and allows you to qualify for the Cancel for Any Reason Benefit, when included.

Important Tip! Waiting until final payment for your trip is a mistake. Purchase within the time sensitive period after your initial trip deposit and receive broader coverage at the same price than if you purchase with final payment.
